NBA player Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder shared a couple of photos on Instagram. The NBA forward displayed his highly anticipated upcoming Nike KD VI “Aunt Pearl” Sneakers. These floral print sneakers are a tribute to his late Aunt who died from lung cancer in 2000. This tribute colorway launches in conjunction with the Kay Yow Foundation, providing proceeds for cancer research and sporting the foundation’s logo on the tongue of the sneaker.

These kicks arrive at Nike retailers on February 27th.

Nike Unveils “You Showed Us” Campaign for Kobe Bryant

In their latest print campaign, Nike is looking to light a proverbial fire under Bryant’s rehab process with a laundry list of accomplishments that he captured during his NBA career. Pointing to things “you showed us” like “playing chess while others played checkers” and that “an 81-point game is a real thing,” the ad then challenges Kobe to “show us again” – surely hinting at a dynamic comeback for next season.

Nike Sportswear 2012 “Black History Month” Collection.

Black History Month is finally here and Nike Sportswear unveils the new drops from their latest annual collection. The collection drops shortly after the Serena Williams capsule collection, the release is comprised of four iconic pairs of Nikes, a Dri-FIT T-shirt, Destroyer Jacket, and snapback hat. The footwear range is made up of Air Force 1, Air Max 1, Nike Huarache Free, & the Nike Blazer. With no official release date slated at this point, you can expect an official release date in the upcoming weeks.

Rapper Lil Wayne was seated courtside at America Airlines Arena in Miami as the Miami Heat defeated the Chicago Bulls 101-93 in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Finals. Nike Basketball presents: "The Black Mamba?"

The project is obviously focused on Kobe Bryant, but Kanye appears around the 3:20 mark and sticks around until the end. I won’t ruin what happens. I'm unsure if it's just another promo video or an actual commercial but if you are like me, and are fans of both Kobe and Kanye, definitely check this out.

Actor Tristan Wilds was spotted arriving on the redcarpet at Sean Kingston’s 21st birthday party at Premiere in Hollywood sporting a Levi Maestro x Shayan Afshar “Infinity Piece” watch ($85) and a pair of Nike ACG Woodside boots ($110) which are my new favorite.
