Singer Amy Winehouse, was found dead at her apartment in London Saturday, the UK Press Association reported. She was 27. I could not believe the news when I heard that Amy died, I believe that she had so much to accomplish as a musician and an artist. She only released two albums, but was the first British female to win five Grammy awards.
Winehouse died at the same age as four other great music legends. Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison (who each died of drug overdoses) when they were 27. Kurt Cobain was also 27 when he committed suicide, soon after his release from rehab.
