Mateo is definitely a rising star, I first discovered him and Miguel on Myspace back when it was popular. His Underneath the Sky mixtape, was on of my favorites. Now he is signed to Grammy Award winning producer Kerry “Krucial” Brothers‘ imprint Krucial Noise, and the new mixtape, Love & Stadiums is out.
The mixtape features collaborations with Pusha T, Goapele, Kardinal Offishall and more. Mateo describes his music as “Urban Mod” because he blends different elements into an urban music sound.
