From music, clubs, sports, to record label executive… Jay Z has touched it all and now he’s taking on the world publishing with his first book, called "Decoded".
On Tuesday, November 16, 2010, Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter and publisher Spiegel & Grau, an imprint of the Random House Publishing Group, are set to release Decoded, the first book written by the multi-platinum, 10 time Grammy Award winning entrepreneur and icon. Unique in every sense, Decoded is a narrative journey through the lyrics and life of one of the most prolific artists of our time.
Featuring an image of Andy Warhol’s Rorschach on the cover, the beautifully designed, fully-illustrated book decodes 36 songs from JAY-Z’s extensive catalog. By telling the stories behind some of Jay-Z’s most famous and provocative lyrics, Decoded offers an intimate, first-hand account of an artist, his work, and the culture that so powerfully shaped him.

Big Krit has really showed us all that theirs hope for the rap game after all. He produced most of the songs on the disc and wrote all of his rhymes. more fashion week coverage...
2011 Spring/Summer Presentation.
This post has to be one of my best yet, take a look into the upcoming 2011 Spring/Summer presentation by Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein. (unveiled at New York Fashion Week)
Both designers focused on the use of bold patterns and colors for the upcoming season, the sartorial looks offer insight into the strong creative tailoring from this New York-based label. I had never heard of them until I stumbled across this article, but everything looks like it was styled and tailored to perfection.
